Courage: No headphone jacks on the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL2, new rumor says
The rumor mill once again churns out a rather important piece of information pertaining to Google's upcoming Pixel phones, the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2.
According to a piece of information obtained by 9To5Google's Stephen Hall once again puts the good ol' headphone jack in the sights. As per the latest tip, the next Pixels are once again tipped to ditch the 3.5mm audio jack and rely on Bluetooth and the USB Type-C port for audio playback.
This coincides with many previous rumors we've heard about the device dropping the headphone jack and, to be honest, wouldn't be that surprising to witness. The trend that got pioonered by Motorola but really caused ripples in the industry after Apple released its headphone-less iPhone 7 and 7 Plus is likely here to stay, and it seems that Google will be one of the largest players to join in the coming months.
